The Municipality of Thessaloniki has introduced the city’s residents and visitors to an augmented reality (AR) application to experience city’s history in a interesting way.
Get fascinated by the future of city experience with the launch of Thessaloniki Alive project. It is the beginning of a journey to transform the visitors’ experience of exploring our city.
Using this app, city’s visitors can explore 25 points of interest in both English and in Greek. Among these are the White Tower, the Rotunda of Galerius, the Church of Agios Dimitrios, the Arch of Galerius, the Church of Panagia Halkeon and the Ancient Agora.
The project is implemented by Thessaloniki Convention Bureau with the exclusive support from Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
