CONNECT Tourism & Travel Event Thessaloniki 2022

Save the Date: 8-10 May 2022

CONNECT Tourism & Travel Event Thessaloniki is the perfect meeting place for buyers of the international travel industry and suppliers from Thessaloniki and its surroundings!

Initiated in 2021 by Thessaloniki Convention Bureau virtually, the 2022 version will be Face2Face.  We are ready to build promising partnerships, to open new destinations, to extend our professional network. To be creative, plan ahead and above all enjoy meeting each other.

We invite you to join CONNECT Tourism & Travel Event Thessaloniki 2022, an event for professionals, bringing together international buyers with top-notch local suppliers.

Thessaloniki, Greece’s second tier city, an emerging City Break & MICE destination, as well as its scenic surroundings in Central Macedonia, offering diverse enchanting solutions for alternative tourism, are the focal points of the event. Prescheduled B2B meetings, networking opportunities through a carefully designed social programme and destination presentations will provide to hosted buyers and local suppliers a full and interesting two days set up for productive business.

Thessaloniki is a city with a continuous history of 2.300 years, with traces and monuments of the Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and Jewish heritage, a 5 km long waterfront, lively atmosphere and a unique gastronomy.

A 60 minutes’ drive around Thessaloniki will take you to explore mythical Olympus, to swim in the crystal clear waters of magical Chalkidiki in the summer or ski to one of the numerous ski centers at the nearby mountains in the winter, to wander around Platamon castle, to admire the treasures of the Gold of the Macedons. There is even more for you out there in Central Macedonia: Kerkini Lake for birdwatching, vineyards and wineries to taste interesting wines from local varieties, relaxation at the open-air warm thermal springs in Loutraki, inspiration at the birthplace of Aristotle.

Thessaloniki Convention Bureau will be ready on 8 – 10 May, 2022 to welcome suppliers and international event planners, fully complying with any health and safety regulations valid at that time.
