Following a successful bid led by the Thessaloniki Convention Bureau, in collaboration with the Library of the School of Music Studies of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the city will host the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) Conference from 28 June to 3 July 2026, with Symvoli | Conference & Cultural Management serving as the Professional Congress Organizer.
More than 300 music librarians, archivists, musicologists, and researchers from around the world are expected to join Thessaloniki for a week dedicated to music, academic presentations, workshops, networking, and cultural exchange.
